2007 Vina Robles Signature Estate Cuvee Red Wine

The 2007 Vina Robles Signature Estate Cuvee is a distinctive blend of two lesser known grapes – Petit Verdot and Petite Sirah – which flourish in the Paso Robles climate. Petit Verdot comes from the Bordeaux area, Petite Sirah – also called Durif – originates from Southern France. Both varieties are known for their intense color and delivering a generous amount of ageworthy tannins.

In 2007, Vina Robles Signature Estate Cuvee fared exceptionally well. It is a dark, saturated garnet color with earthy notes of black fruit, dried figs and toasty oak. Rich and full-bodied with layers of flavors; blackberries, hints of cedar, cinnamon and currant accents. Ripe, silky tannins with a smooth, balanced finish.
