The 2009 Nuits St. Georges is pretty, layered and nuanced in its intense, floral fruit. This shows very nice textural richness and depth. It is a gorgeous, promising wine. Not surprisingly, the Nuits is made from estate-owned fruit, in this case from parcels in Lavieres and Aux Baux Combes. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2019.
