Eric Bonnet at Domaine La Bastide Saint Dominique learned winemaking in Burgundy and it really shows in the lovely wines he crafts at La Bastide Saint Dominique, the Domaine his family purchased over 30 years ago. Today Bonnet, with his parents, Gerard and Marie-Claude, and his wife Julie Moro, work together at Bastide Saint Dominique, fashioning some of the best values in the Rhone.
Domaine La Bastide Saint Dominique's Cotes du Rhone is a fantastic value year after year. Eric really outdid himself with the 2010, an absolutely delicious Cotes du Rhone that is perfect for drinking while you wait for his gorgeous Chateauneufs to come around.
